It is a direct replacement for the AD-4401, retaining the same panel cutout size, connector locations, and default settings while adding A&D’s High-Performance Digital Filter for environments with vibration or movement. If you are already running an AD-4401 system, upgrading to the AD-4401A requires no rewiring and no changes to connected devices.
